What it does
- Provides initial guidance informed by recognised international safeguarding principles.
- Adapts steps according to role and seriousness of the concern.
- Helps identify safeguarding routes, support and emergency contacts.
What it does not do
- It does not determine whether abuse, harassment, discrimination, racism, bullying, neglect or a breach occurred.
- It does not investigate, assign responsibility or replace a safeguarding lead, qualified professionals, authorities, emergency services, or legal or clinical advice.
- It does not replace your club, federation or organisation policies or the law of the country where you are.
If there is immediate danger
- Do not wait for a response from the app or internal approval. Contact emergency services or the relevant authority where you are.
